Access scaffolding to the internal of four primary settlement tanks for MWH Ltd at United Utilities Lancaster Waste Water Treatment Works. The scaffolding is to accommodate the full replacement of the steel mobile bridge which runs above the tanks, it’s runners and other ancilliary steelwork. The tanks are a gas check area and require one of our scaffolders to be confined space trained. United Utilities require the tanks to return to full operation in as quicker time as possible so we have erected the scaffolding using our quicker Cuplok system. This has shortened the duration needed to carry out the scaffolding works by over 2 weeks (25%). We are also carrying out the weekly scaffolding inspections.
